Bobiverse recap

The Bobiverse is Dennis E. Taylor’s series about Robert Johansson, a software engineer who wakes more than a century after his death as a replicant: an uploaded human mind running in a computer. The theocracy that scanned him loads that mind into Heaven-1, a self-replicating interstellar probe, and sends him out of a dying Solar System. Copies of that mind take their own names, pick their own stars, and keep arguing like a family on a radio that finally catches up with light-lag.

What Heaven Watch adds

Heaven Watch is an unofficial 2D cartography explorer for the series. A local-bubble chart and a deep-space layer hold star systems. System maps pin worlds. A watch log walks chapter-level beats from 2133 through 2350. Named people, places, and terms in that log open a spoiler-aware glossary.

Set the spoiler control to the last book you finished before you open the explorer from a recap. Later events stay off the map until you allow them. That is a courtesy, not a lockbox.

How these recaps are written

These recaps are original paraphrases written for Heaven Watch. They are not copied from the novels and not scraped from other recap pages. We use publicly discussed plot—the same facts a reader would find on a series wiki—then write the watch log and these pages in our own sentences. We do not quote the books.
